A betta. Shrimp (if you can keep the tank at 74-78 degrees). The red cherry shrimps are pretty and you could put 3 or 4 of them in that tank. A guppy or two (both male) will also do well, given proper care. Honestly, though a 5.7 liter tank is tiny.
Do NOT put tetras or other schooling fish in there, as they will be very easily stressed out without a proper school (6 or more fish, generally) and your tank cannot support a school. The small space will also stress them out. In short, they won't survive for long.
Also, do NOT put goldfish in there. They grow quickly (mine grew from 2" to 5" in a year) and are poop machines compared to most other fish. I'm keeping 6 goldfish in my 55 gallon tank. It's considered overstocked by some people, and I change 30-50% water weekly to keep the water parameters somewhat reasonable.

That is a really small tank, only about 1.5 gallons... The only fish you could even attempt would be a Betta (you would need to clean the tank twice a week). A MUCH better option would be 3-4 shrimp. Look into Ghost Shrimp, Red Cherry Shrimp, Amano Shrimp, and Singapore Shrimp. Each will have different needs and would be greatly benefited by live plants. Email me if you have any questions.

EDIT: Okay, Great White, haha, obviously a joke... Pacu?! Unsuspecting peole who are new to the hobby are gonna get screwed over with this advice! Pacus each get about 3 feet long!
EDIT 2: Common Goldfish will reach about 1.5 feet and are entirely unacceptable for tanks less than 125 gallons (they are POND fish!). A single Fancy Goldfish could squeeze into a 10 gallon tank, but 15 gallons is much better (again, for only one).
EDIT 3: AVOID DANIOS. They are EXTREMELY active and would soon injure themselves on the tank walls in such a confined space. Also, 5.7 liters is not NEARLY enough room for a single Guppy! Guppies like to swim too, don't deprive any fish of that. Get a bigger tank if you can (you should be able to get a 5 gallon kit for about $10 U.S. dollars).

A nice looking pair of fancy guppies would work. Some small decorative live plant would also look nice and also be beneficial
