right here is what might take place. The east & west coasts would not care because of the fact Cubs are a midwest group. we will get kudos & congrats from some communities (probable even the enjoying cards & the different Chicago group), baseball analysts & ESPN or Fox might have a field day with the coverage & interviews. the city might become party central united states of america for some days & the victory parade could be bigger than the 80 5 Bears, the two the Bulls 3-peats & genuinely plenty bigger than the practice parade waaaaaaay returned in 05. as though there already weren't sufficient bandwagon followers, we'd see and inflow of many greater human beings desirous to be a factor of the fan base & claiming to 'know they might win it'. we'd ultimately see Daley positioned on a Cubs hat for greater advantageous than the vital 20 2d image op he oftentimes pulls & Obama might have a snide commentary alongside the lines of 'what took you spot you later?'. regrettably, each and all of the hot 'followers' desirous to work out the Cubs will make it even harder to get tickets right here season. this is obviously, if the hot vendors do no longer enhance the fees to attempt to benefit from the championship reign. although, the ultimate ingredient that'll take place is that each and all of the Sox followers would have surely no longer something to gloat approximately anymore. Shutting their pie holes (extremely Ozzie's) is the ultimate ingredient that would desire to come out of the Cubs triumphing all of it. If we are fortunate sufficient, Sox attendance will dwindle much greater (if that is even achievable) that they're going to ultimately flow out of city & go away the only genuine group in Chicago to stay in victory.

I would say yes since the Cardinals did last year when the Tigers let them have it.I'm no Cubs fan but I despise St. Louis. I wish the Cardinals would make it to the World Series and get beat by Boston again so they really know that their win last year was a nothing but a fluke.Anythings possible I suppose.

I think they can do it. If they made it this far this year, they'll be able to do it next year and be prepared for playoffs pressure. I'm not from Chicago, but I like the Cubs and I'ld like to see them win. Keep the faith!
At least my team won back in the 80s, but I can feel your pain.

Baby steps, baby steps... they went from last place to the playoffs in 1 year. As long as they keep improving the team each offseason, they will eventually get there. Who knows? Maybe next year.

I'm thinking the only chance you'll have is if you're about negative 40 years old right now.

If you're 2 and plan on living until you're 150 maybe. But if you're any older than that I wouldn't count on it.
