...today, I organized several drawers that had adapters to this or wires to that, and connectors...also some weird looking things...most of it was my son's "stuff"...he knows so much about it (works at Radio Shack) and helps me sometimes...but, I'm still light years behind the times...I feel so fossilized (sniff)

Though troubleshooting can be an intuitive talent, alot of it is memorizing the way things work. The new windows vista is frustrating for techs like me, because now I have to memorize every aspect of the OS all over again so I can walk people through stuff. But I even feel dumb when I buy new cell phones. My wife thinks it's funny that I'm a computer genius but get frustrated when dealing with cell phones. But of course once you've learned it, that's one step closer to making life easier.

Basically I can rewire lamps or even a whole house, I am not an electrician, but I can figure out some things. But no I am not up to date with today's fast technology..... I am always behind such as cell phones, who can afford to keep up with it's fast pace instruments.
