Ladies...how many of you shave EVERYTHING for the men in your life because they like it? I am not talking about 'trimming', I mean shaving it bald (like a little girl?) That concerns me when they want it that way!

What about what you ladies like? What should they shave for you? I say their faces... if there is stubble (it's the same thing as a woman with stubble on her legs), their Armpit hair and Butt hair...EEWWww!

Sure... our MEN need hair in certain places (chests & legs ) because that makes them 'men', but Women have hair in certain places that make us Women.
Why are we suppose to get rid of our hair when we are expected to accept their hairy 'whatevers'... no matter what. It seems to be 'the thing' for women to shave 'everything'.

Ladies...if your man wants you to shave ALL...make HIM shave ALL of his 'stuff'. Bet he will change his mind after that request!

Just want to add that I like a hairy chest. It's a 'man' thing and it is usually soft and I can run my fingers thru the chest hair and play with his chest hair. The other hairy parts...not so much.

Chris...you like a smooth, hairless butt with your woman, why am I 'freaky' if I want a man with no butt hair? BUTT hair is not a turn on, is not sexy, or desired for any female that I know.

More than one person brought up 'sanitary reasons' that a woman trims or shaves, and I can not stop myself from thinking about the SO MANY men I know that dig, scratch, adjust, etc. Can we ask them about being sanitary and clean?

wow.... Feminism to the MAX.
as a guy and a father to 3 little girls, the thought of the woman i make love to completly shaving her "special area" gives me the creeps.... trimmed is good enough. she shaves her armpits and legs because she enjoys having soft skin.
and i return the favor, i shave my face when i get stubbly and i keep my groin and armpits trimmed.

and uhhhm..... why would you want a guy to shave his butt hair... what kind of freakyness are you into???!

Men don't need hair in certain places to be men. I hate chest hair. Thankfully my almost hubby is low on hair in that department. He doesn't demand that I shave any areas. I shave legs and armpits because it just feels cleaner to me. Not because he cares, because he doesn't. I don't shave all my hair 'down there'. It's itchy and gross IMO. I trim, again, to feel clean (I can't wear tampons so for me any excess hair gets the eww factor every month). Again, if he wanted me bald there like a pre-pubescent child, I would be concerned. Trimmed and clean, yes. Bald, no. Just strange IMO. I only ask he shaves his face once or twice a week (he doesn't have much for facial hair thankfully), but that is it. Hair is natural, there's no reason to be naked from the neck down.

Because people like to label characteristics of being either masculine or feminine and then categorize people into little boxes - then of course if you go against these labels it's frowned upon. Sad truth but probably won't change anytime soon. Do what you want though! Hairy or silky smooth!

TIME OUT! I am a man and my pubes are trimmed very close and my testicles are clean shaven. I shave my face when it gets that sand paper feeling. I like a woman that has a little bush. My ex girlfriend shaved her privates all the time. I asked her to just trim it. She told me she shaved it for sanitary reasons.

I don't like shaved men. Yet, I let my man decide what part of his body to shave/not shave. About shaving myself, I always did shave my every part, although I'm not very hairy; it's a matter of hygene as well as beauty I think. A hairy woman IS NOT feminine.

I would never shave "all" for anyone. A) It itches. B) I'm a woman, not a little girl. The hair proves it. I keep myself neat and trimmed. Like it or don't. I can get a man anywhere. All a woman has to do is offer. Men have to work for it.

My husband shaves also. he keeps himself neatly trimmed "down there" and also shaves his armpits. Armpit hair holds body odor. Shaving it off is cooler and you tend to smell less.

Funny, because both my ex and my wife are the ones into shaving down there - it doesn't fuss me either way... Not sure why you think it's men pushing for a shave, that's not my experience - but then, everyone's different..

I know this question was aimed at women. But, as a gay man i don't have expectations of what my partner should shave or shouldn't. I personally shave my armpits and my chest and stomach because thats what makes ME feel comfortable.... as a woman you should only shave what you want to... and as for your partner's expectations well you can quite simply tell them to shove it!

I've shaved myself "there" more than once at a partner's request and I've never asked a partner to shave, including one who did not shave her legs or armpits. So there.

I'm not a fan of women going completely bald 'down there', but at the same time no one wants 70s bush either.
