A 44 kg box is being pushed a distance of 7.0 m across the floor by a force whose magnitude is 163 N. The force is parallel to the displacement of the box. The coefficient of kinetic friction is 0.25. Determine the work done on the box by each of the four forces that act on the box. Be sure to include the proper plus or minus sign for the work done by each force.

The magnitude of the force of kinetic friction is equal to the coefficient of kinetic friction times the normal force. Be sure to remember the right direction for this force. (opposite the direction of motion). One you figure out this force the work is easy.

The problem asked for the work done by all 4 forces. You said that you found the work from the applied force and need help with frictional. Don't forget to do the other 2 forces.
