Context of this question is 'life problems' or emotional / moral / intellectual suffering... something that needs a release but is clueless about its outcome or even if a cure exists.

Albert Camus once said: In the depth of winter, I finally learned that there was within me an invincible summer.

Sufferers come together because they believe in that summer - that at least one of them has a solution. That's why groups, communities, even churches and schools are places of 'congregation' - and collection. It's symbolizes a collective hope toward a common goal that someone somewhere has the 'road map' to life's unanswered questions.

That is a very interesting question ... and the answer depends on WHAT they are suffering from. Diseases can be fatal, and you can't find a 'cure' in a support group, but you can get understanding, and find it in yourself to have the energy to fight the disease, so maybe, MAYBE that 'group' can do some good.
If it's 'political unrest' then yes, 'sufferers' can 'solve the problem' IF they can 'agree on what needs to be changed' and can convince enough other people to aid them in their 'fight' ... either in a war, or a 'coup' or a 'revolution' of the people against a totally 'unfair' government.
So ... I don't know if my answer gives you any 'help,' but if you could 'narrow down' the 'thing' the sufferers are 'against' I might be able to give you a 'better' answer.

I believe so because they are the best ones to offer genuine support and the feeling of not being alone in the world. They can offer a unique insight that may help more than a "non- sufferer", though that is not to say that you have to be suffering to give guidance to somebody who is suffering..

no either.. coz they can't even solve their individual problems... that's why they're suffering.. how much more the problems of others..
