I don't think anyone had a problem with the war in Afghanistan but Iraq is a different story. I think one of the problems for the citizens with these wars is that there is really no way for Americans to show their support except by putting a magnet on the car or getting mad at someone who thinks Iraq is a big mistake.
I believe even those who are against the war would buy war bonds rather than be indebted to China and other countries for financing it. Why aren't we able to invest in our country in that way to show we are all good Americans and are united as far as wanting to do for our country.
This war effort touches Americans in a different way than Viet Nam did because we were actually attacked and face the threat of future attacks. I'm sorry to say that the Bush administration is more into admonishing people than bringing them together in meaningful ways. Threats and name-calling make it difficult to stand behind his decisions. Too many secrets and odd ways of doing things have been his downfall to many of the public.

In Nazi Germany everyone there was "lock-step" patriotic before AND during war. I wouldn't call them "real" patriots because you don't need a brain to be an unquestioning lock-step patriot. Unfortunately that is the mentality that is being handed down to us today on this phony war on terror.
The truly informed people (and real patriots) are discovering Ron Paul in droves and guess what? They aren't keeping their mouth shut. That's because they know something AND that something is that things are seriously wrong here!

Ha, ha.
The whole time Chamberlain was appeasing Hitler Churchhill was screaming, "wrong" and most of Europe were laughing at him.
Roosevelt nor Churchhill were very popular. In fact, go back even further...Lincoln was criticized every step of the way during the Civil War.
History is a wonder thing...more people should read it.

Hello,, that sounds like a worm crawling under a rock. Screw the Bush regime and all who endorse them!! Tear down the Alamo and give Texas back to Mexico!! Throw away the Constitution and Bill of Rights and allow the gestapo bastards the right to screw your women and make slaves out of your children. Remember "the British are coming" who fought for your rights then? Now we have to rely on our "allies" to help defend the New World Order of change in effect. Who wants globalization? the rich bastards who don't give a rats *** about you or me, the phony election monitoring , come on America, WAKE UP !!

They should if they believe in the war. However not many believe in this war on terror!Which is easily understandable when you consider the sequence of events.Bush recieved a briefing on 8/6/01 stating Bin Laden determined to strike inside US.Moussaoui the 20th hijacker was in FBI custody for weeks before 9/11.Why did FBI HQ in Washington deny requests for FISA warrants requested from Minneapolis field office?Minneapolis is where they caught Moussaoui!

Sounds like sarcasm to me. If we all read from the same script and weren't critical of Bush's mess, we'd all be Republicans.

Not safer, just happier. A liberal could never make America safe, Bill Clinton was proof of that, look how many terrorist attacks we had on his watch. The terrorist soon learned that Good Ole George wouldn't stand by idly like Bill did. So the answer to your question is no, the soldiers fighting are the ones keeping America safe, so you can continue to keep your loud mouth yakking, all you do is make liberals look dumb.

Real Patriots try to keep the integrity of our country intact at all times. Real Patriots question President's when our President's forget to keep the country's interest in mind. A real patriot questions a president when a president forgets to question things himself. A true patriot believes in the democratic system and does whatever he/she can do to protect our freedom.

Nazi Germany followed a Mad man and were not able to voice an opinion .We all have the right to make choices and should have the right to criticize .With the majority of Americans opposing him it's a miracle he has not been impeached

How can you when he is most hated man in the world by vote. He has never had a brain but he has gotten worst everyday, I'm sick of him I just don't want to ever see him or hear him on radio or TV. That is very sad when you really just can't stand to look or see your President because you know what kind of man that he is and always has been, I bow my head in shame that I live in a country that is so beautiful that has the most man in the world as President and to think that he stole both election and we stood by and let him do all this damage to our country.
