xanax + alcohol = double the effect. "See your Doctor" and
read the papers that come with your prescription.

And that does "not" mean, if you don't take the pill, you can
take the alcohol. Because you can have an "adverse"
reaction, by not taking your prescription. <}:-})

Studies have shown that Xanax passes through breast milk in women. Because Xanax can cause serious side effects, it is usually recommended that women stop breastfeeding while taking the drug. Xanax can cause drowsiness, feeding problems, weight loss, and other problems in breastfed infants. Xanax and alcohol together is sufficient enough to invite alcoholic hepatitis, peripheral neuropathy, cereballar degeneration, brain atropy, and stroke. I would not breast feed if the above . However, research shows that occasional drinking, such as one or two units once or twice a week, is not harmful to your baby while you are breastfeeding. Drinking any more than this can cause problems, such as affecting the mother's 'let down' reflex.

Not a good idea. Xanax is a depressant and so is alcohol. Combining the two can be dangerous especially if you are taking large amounts of either, this can kill you. Now, Xanax does leave your body fairy quickly, so if you are planning on drinking, just don't take your Xanax that day or take it in the morning and drink at night.

I do suggest talking to your doctor or pharmacist too.

Thats a large amount of Xanax. You will become VERY tired and I doubt you will be able to keep your eyes open after that drink kicks in.Depending on how much you drink, you could end up passing out and getting very sick. Not good idea. One or the other is the safest answer.

It may make you feel more drunk than you are plus make you very drowsy. 2mg is not a huge amount but you didn't say how much liquor you would be drinking. I drank heavily (2 bottles of champagne and 32oz of beer) after taking about 2mg of Ativan and I had a mild seizure. Just watch out.

There may possibly be an additive sedating effect that could kill you. Worse, if you do this frequently, you could cause irreversible damage to your liver.

It will make you extremely sleepy. I don't recommend doing that.
