how do i reset my ipod mini?

i tried pressing the menu and middle button for like 3 minutes, it still doesn't come on, i put it in the charger into the computer overnight, it still doesn't work, WHATS HAPPENED TO IT?

Wait until the battery dies, THEN recharge it and see if it works. If not, just click on where it says _____'s iPod and on that main page (Summary) click Restore.
