In general, alot of people have lost a lot of money on college football this year. Maybe the end of the world really is coming? I mean, poor Kansas was unranked coming into this week, despite being undefeated with better offensive numbers than LSU and also only having 3 TD's against.

Definitely Stanford over USC. Some were saying USC might have had one of the best teams of all time this year, and they were a 40 point favorite to win this game. I'm not sure if a 40 pt. dog has ever won a game before. Michigan's loss was huge, but they aren't near the quality team as USC is.

Both USC and Michigan were overrated, but I would say the USC is the bigger upset, simply bc this is further in the season. Michigan was completely unproven at that time, and Appalachian State is actually a decent team, despite what division they are in. App State would probably put up a good showing against any of today's top 25. Either way, today is important because ND got their first win! Go irish!!

Well, when you consider that Stanford and USC are a little familiar with each other being in the Pac 10, App State going to Michigan out of the blue and winning is probably still more monumental in college football history...

I would have to say that Stanford's win shocked me more because Applachian state beat Michigan in the first game while all the kinks should have been out by now so I pick Stanford's win over USC a bigger upset.

I still think App State! Stanford is a PAC 10 ten, that has actually been good in the past. App State gave all underdogs confidence to fight it out on the field.
Every conference has the cellar dwellers, Stanford is kind of like Baylor. They always come out and fight, they don't usually win, but they scare you.
Besides SC was due for an upset loss and they lost a bunch of guys this week with injuries. They were ripe for the picking.

I think that it is easily still the boys from Boone winning in the Big House. Stanford has beat USC many times before. But i think that a team from the FCS(D1-AA) beating the #5 FBS team in the nation, not to mention it was Michigan, is easily still the bigger upset.

USC losing is bigger. USC hadnt lost at home since 01 ironically against stanford. app state may be a 1aa school but at least they were a good winning 1aa school. app state could beat stanford. stanford was a 40 pt underdog and still won on the road. unbelievable.
