That is like the sum of all the pennies from .1 to 1000. Using EXCEL I get 500500 pennies which is $5005.00.

The sum of the first n even numbers is about n^2 and the sum of the first n odd numbers is about the same so that makes about $5000. That confirms in my mind the number from EXCEL.

The sum of n numbers = (n*(n+1)/2)
10.00*10.01/2 = 500.50

I got $1049.51, but that's probably wrong.
Good luck!
