Your thoughts?
Personally, I thought that this year would be a building year, since we lost so many great players and leaders, (But we still have Zibby) and when we started losing left and right, I thought we would definitely fail this year for sure. Alas! I was proved wrong! Go Irish!
Please, don't be hateful, you will ruin my glorious moment of happiness. :)

Terry - I was also doubting Weis, but hopefully, he will keep going with the wins and show everyone he can teach a freshman to be the next Brady Quinn...

But no one can ever be the next Brady Quinn, but Clausen needs to snap out of the fog that he was in the last couple games, (not this one as much). Talk about someone not being able to gauge everything around him, enough to get sacked way too often. :)

Mongodabear - I agree with you. Sharpley has been playing longer than Clausen, and knows the college football drill better than Clausen. I think Weis should have played Sharpley as starter this season so far, and gave Clausen a chance to watch and learn. This would have given Clausen less of a complex. Sharpley is more cool headed than Clausen anyway. Just my two cents worth. :) Thanks guys!

Fellow Irish fan here...Its FREAKIN AWESOME!!!...I had my doubts about this game...at UCLA, revenge on their mind...It wasn't exactly pretty, but a win is a win...Frankly, I started doubting whether Weis should be the coach...The jury is still out...til next season...Then, he has to do well...

finally, light at the end of the tunnel...though why, why, why did they play Clausen? Sharpley did real good last week.....and Clausen....barely did anything. We won because UCLA kept turning over the ball. I'll take it, but with Sharpley, I think we could have actually looked good doing it.

Pretty shocking that it came against UCLA, but they finally got the monkey off their back. Nortre Dame looked like a decent, normal football team tonight, they're light years from where they were when they started the season.

They have suffered long enough i think. Notre Dame winning just feels right. I am not the least bit of a fan of ND, but i couldnt take seeing them slide that hard.
