Coins of Canada by J.A. Haxby and R.C. Willey is a common coin book put out on Canadian coins as well as a section on tokens and currency. It is also a price guide, but since it comes out once a year, the prices are a guide only for things change. Most coins, medals and token have references numbers sometimes quite a few of them so that one can find it easily in the book that is the reference. Your token is also Breton 720 or so, but I do not have that book. Some books reference others, as a help in identification.

There was a 'catalog' of sorts put out by the Krause organization several years ago. It was the brainchild of a guy named James A. Haxby whose name is still used in reference to this catalog (set of 6 volumes).

Unfortunately, 'Haxby' is out of print and used sets are quite expensive. Since it came out so long ago (maybe 20 years), the prices in it are not really useful except as a broadly defined outline.

Standard Catalog of United States Obsolete Bank Notes, 1782-1866 by James A. Haxby (Hardcover - Nov 1988) is one such catalog.
