And, of course, what does that mean?

(Thanks for being good sports. And, now, are you sure it doesn't have anything to do with R/S?)

There are four in a household of three. I try to keep one in the car. I do have faith that if it does begin to rain heavily that I will not have an umbrella wherever I am. If I am in the house, they will be in the car or left at a friends home, and if I am out driving, the umbrellas are safe at home. The only one who is pretty faithful to keep track of her umbrella is the eight year old.

Three people live here, therefore, we have three umbrellas. It means that we aren't considerate enough to keep a spare or two for company.

It's also pointless that we own them. It's been years since they have been used because the kids and I enjoy thunder showers. It's only water and I don't melt. There's something spiritual, something cleansing, about walking in the rain. Heavy downpours are the best.

An umbrella on my back porch
An umbrella in my garage
My children share an umbrella, and I keep one in the car.
I suppose it's because the motto here is, "don't like the weather, wait a minute."

Three I think. I have a red fold-up one, my daughter has a 70s-style clear 'bubble' umbrella with a blue handle and a blue stripe round the outside, and I've kept her old burgundy-colored one for when she gets jack of carting around the plastic one.

None. But I think we've got 2 in our car, which I never use unless I'm carrying the baby and it's REALLY pouring. (Over 200 days with rain a year - if I worried about getting wet I'd never do anything!) And it means I don't mind getting wet.

Let's see . . .
We have . . .
3 adult size (one spare) umbrellas
2 larger beach umbrellas
1 kiddie umbrella
But hey, does a package of a dozen or so of those little paper cocktail umbrellas count? Hee hee!

It means we are ready for the rain (and cocktails)!! :)

None, I enjoy a little bit of rain on me. Besides unbrellas are useless in a downpour anyway so what'd be the point?

It means, I don't care for them. LOL

it's really strange, but i don't even own an umbrella.

i haven't had one since i was in grade school.

i have no idea what that means...maybe i was frightened by an umbrella as a child? lol

I have three. One has Van Gogh's Irises on it. One is a Coca-Cola one. The other one is one I carry on the golf course. It means I don't like to get wet. I think it also means I'm prepared.

none, we might have one in the car, but I am not sure, in our area, the use of an umbrella means that you are a tourist.

our average rainfall is 80 inches.
