i have 3 fish in a 30 gallon tank. about a 5 and a half inch long oscar and a 3 inch oscar, and a kissing gourami. I just added the smaller oscar into the tank. I've decided to do so because the bigger oscar didnt seem to mind the kissing gourmai which is only about 1and a hal finches long. But ever sicne ive put it in, every time i walk away i noticed that the bigger oscar is biting the smaller oscar and harrasing them. The smaller oscar already has scractches around his body and i see a ripped tail fin. I know they'll need a bigger tank soon but i believe its not the time yet because there still to small. Does anyone have any ideas how to stop the bigger oscar from the smaller oscar. P.S. i had another oscar before in a smaller tank when i had 1 0 galln. The 51/2 inch oscar was about 41/2 and the other small oscar was about 1/1/2 inch but that one was bullied so much to the point it died. please i need some advice.

As others have already said and others will probably tell you, you need to flat out separate the oscars. The larger one, being there first, has already established territory over the whole tank. You MAY have some better luck if you upgrade to AT LEAST a 55 gallon.
Your fish are not to small to upgrade either. In fact they will probably be healthier for it. Get a bigger tank and leave your kisser in the 30 gallon as it will not survive once the oscars get larger.
The only other thing you can try is to either change your decor (although I know someone already told you this in your last post) or get new decorations. This will force your fish to re-establish territories.

No. it fairly is in basic terms too overstocked. which will in no way artwork. For the 4 goldfish, you like a 50 gallon tank on my own. No different fish in it. Oscars on the different hand, want seventy 5 gallons minimum!!! They replace into over 15 inches! _____ on the different hand, they require diverse temperatures and finally, the oscar would be great sufficient to consume the goldfish. do not attempt this. i'm not mendacity. do somewhat study formerly getting fish.

Why is the story continuously changing? Let them sort out their territorial disputes for a day or two. If it continues, get them separate tanks (they will happily jump over dividers). If you let them go, they will suffer the same fate as your previous Oscar; bullied to death. As you already know, they will eventually need about 125 gallons (for 3 Oscars)... You might as well get it now and save some money (so you don't have to separate them into 2 tanks).
