Why is it that mostly liberals tell how hypocritical the Republican party is but ignore their own party. I'm not saying the Republican party is perfect, but it seems that they just ignore the failings of their own party and attack the other. Any thoughts?

You could just as easily say that about the Republican party too. It's both sides Because it isn't politically convenient to attack your own side it hurts you in elections. That's politics for you.

Its probably because everyone is pointing fingers at Bush or attacking each other, and the Liberal party is planning to have a huge turn out in the elections that they aren't thinking about what's going on with the war and the country itself. Again, not saying Republicans are perfect but both groups need to work together, not point the finger

there is clear hypocrisy in both parties...
but Republicans point it out in the Democrat party...
Democrats point it out in the Republican party...
just because there is hypocrisy in your own party... I'm not so sure that means you shouldn't point it out in the other...
no one would ever say anything about anyone being a hypocrite if that was the case...
but to touch on one of your second questions... I don't ignore the hypocrisy in my party... I just see that Republicans point it out quite enough, so why should I bother?
I don't see a lot of Republicans pointing out the hypocrisy in their own party... it happens occasionally on both sides... but it's pretty rare...

All of you are in the same boat. You go back and forth talking about one or two parties. You have a right to vote for whomever you choose. To dislike a certain party but really identify with a certain candidate opposite of yours party affiliations and not vote for him/her is stupid and narrow minded. This is why our country is in such disarray. Regardless of the label, I am voting for the best candidate which is what you all should do.
You pride yourself on your independence and the ability to be a free thinker then turn right around and vote according to what others expect of you.
Maybe you are not as intelligent as you thought!

Both sides are hypocritical... both liberals and conservatives. Your all a bunch of babies that cry about the most inane details and then conveniently ignore them whenever one of your own people does the same thing. BOTH SIDES DO THIS.... you shouldn't even be asking this question. It just makes you look ignorant and just supports what I am saying.

Both parties are made up of individuals who are subject to the same stresses, pressures, and to human downfall. All want to make everybody happy and in so doing make nobody happy. Why are we always trying to make these people out to be some kind of freak show performers? They are just human beings.

It's what happens when one side tries to undermine the government by using slurs and insults. The left has had a great campaign going but it has just about come to an end.

This blind eye to one's own short comings while lambasting everyone else is pretty common whichever political party you support.
