To play a game I got it says I require 256 MB of RAM. When I check system on control panel it says I am only using 224. So I went to a website to see what kinda of RAM I needed to get and the site scanned my com and said that I have 256 MB of RAM, but I dont know how to make the computer use all of it...
Help pleeease. Thanks =)

forgot to mention that I tried to play the game and it said that I did not have enough RAM

Your video card/chip is "borrowing" 32 MB of RAM. Not much you can do about that without replacing the video card. It is much cheaper to buy yourself more memory.

Unless u booted system from other bootstrap loader, windows uses all of usable memory. If its showing 224 which is 224*1024*1024 = 234M is usable memory on that module. Or check if you have 3 RAM modules of 128 + 64 + 32 if you upgraded on n on.. If this is the case.. I dont think you have a free slot to upgrade further..!

You're ok to play the game you have 256. The system is only using 224 megs of it. You will be fine.

Buy more ram. the 32 mb ram you're missing is being used by the video card integrated into your motherboard.

your computer uses the ram when it needs to the game will run on your computer if it meets all the other requrements

take it out and put a 512 in its place.
it's really easy to change your ram.
