Did you go to the dr. and have an x-ray? If not, do that.

If the dr. said nothing was wrong, then you get the RICE program for any sprained or strained injury.

R - Rest
I - Ice 20m on/20m off
C - Compression (not too tight)
E - Elevation (above your heart)

There you go--a solution for every problem. Take care.

Most dr.s will tell you a sprain is sometimes worse than a break. Did they give you a boot to wear when you sprained your ankle? If not try to keep it elevated when you are home, maybe take some kind of ibuprofen, but be sure to take this with food or milk.

I hope you get to feeling better soon!

It may of actually been fractured. If you kept on playing volleyball you may of never given it the chance to heal. Go to the orthopedic doctor & see what they think. Stay off it til then.

follow up with your orthopedist. it can take 6-12 months for soft tissue injuries to heal. you may need more physical therapy.
