Don't start your story at the beginning. Start with a significant event in your life, then go back from there. Or start out with a remark that someone made to you, or about you, that had a lot of meaning to you, or caused an intense feeling within, even if the remark was bad or painful.
I went to college during my forties, finished when I was dang near 50. Lots of homework, but I didn't sit at home all the time while I did the work. I would find a reasonably quiet cafe to have a cup of coffee while studying; it got me out and about and gave me a feeling of getting a little social life. I found that there were plenty of other college students, of all ages, doing the same thing. So I wasn't alone. Sitting home alone and studying all by your little lonesome can get depressing.

When I had to study for the CPA exam finding the right place was important. I tried the library but you couldn't have beverages or snacks, I tried my computer room at home but if I was in the house I would walk around and my boyfriend had TV on. I would watch the rest of the show with him so I lost study time. I found my space at work in office space we had moved out of but not given up our space so I would go there to an empty suite of offices with nothing but a desk and chair and study right after work until I couldn't think anymore.
We all need the correct way for ourselves to study.

Graduation was wonderful! Look forward to it, dear, it will make all this a little easier.

Now, as for "My Life". When I was in school, my Spirituality in Aging class, to be exact, one of the first assignments that we had was to write our own obituary. It's amazing what you will find to put in one of those things. You might want to try it from that prospective.

It also gives one pause to think about their lives and what they are doing with them. I, personally, think mine is coming along pretty good, especially since only one other in my class is a practicing Gerontologist. I love it, in addition to the other business I have.

Good Luck, get an "A", I expect only the best from you!

"As I gaze from my window into the darkness of night, scenes of yesteryears appear before me..." (beginning of my autobiography for Ms. Pickle's College English Class) Welcome to use it...but I got a D...she didn't like my "life"...I was the wrong religion.
Lucky you!! Sure wish I could go back to school!! Good ole' U.T.M.B.!
