I have nothing more to add. Ironjay's George Carlin clip says it all for me.

I was raised with 'Carlinsism', and have been a fan ever since I can remember!

They believe in parental responsibility from conception on until the child reaches adulthood. Note I am not a right to lifer and am okay with first trimester abortions. But know that if you receive help with the issues of which you write it is because somebody else has earned the money to do so and it has been taken away from them to give to you. When I say "you" am speaking rhetorically, I am not assuming that you receive help to meet your needs.

This question is LOADED!!! I am all for helping a child out, but I am not for letting somebody lie on their back and have child after child without any kind of conscience of how they will provide for their own children. As for birth control, I am not against it, but I am against somebody who uses abortion as a form of birth control!!!

Hmmmmm, someone is getting their political message from recycled George Carlin material. See:

His comedy is genuinely insightful.

I guess they feel that the child's parent should "care" for the child more than they should. Imagine that.
