Because being Jewish does not exclude oneself from being correctly labeled as "anti Semitic". Just like it is possible to be American and have "anti American" views, it is also possible to be Jewish and have "anti semitic" views.

As is the case, Bobby Fischer is called such because he has clearly articulated anti semitic views.

Bobby Fischer was a great American Chess champion. He was really eccentric, and went recluse for many years. He was really young when he won the super bowl of chess.
