When on my Menstrual cycle, I am constantly craving and drinking milk.
Am I loosing that much calcium?

Probably not. Do you limit your carbohydrate intake during the month? I found when I did, I craved milk for the carbs. Do make sure you get enough calcium in any form, but don't let a craving upset you...they really don't mean that much.

No. this is normal because when women are menstruating, many have craving during their periods. You are not losing calcium, you are craving milk so you are consuming a really good amount of calcium. Calcium plays a major part in the human body. It makes strong bones and teeth and really helps prevent osteoporosis. You can never have too much calcium. You know now that you will never have and bone problems.

I don't think you are losing calcium, but it is normal to crave milk. It is actually a good thing because milk is healthy for you, and it reduces the symptoms of PMS. =]

Probably not. Different people crave different things. The stereotypical craving food is, of course, chocolate, but there are as many cravings as there are menstruating females :)

I wish I only craved milk when on my period -- just be thankful it's not something too weird. :) It's completely normal. Cravings don't always mean that you're lacking something.

same here! dont feel bad. its a comfort food. it helps soothe my stomach cramps, and makes me feel better. i dont think its calcium issues i really just think some people like you and me crave different things at different times!
