Lately it was in the news that Bush vetoed some health insurance bill. He justified his vetoing of the bill as follows ---

"If i didn't veto the health insurance bill, then it will be the march of federal government to control health care"

What the hell does that mean? i can neither makes heads nor tails of such comment.

He vetoed the bill because it starts us on the long road to socialized medicine which most people do not want. Think a little instead of sucking up the propaganda from the left.

The bill is way over the line. This bill is not for the poor, it includes adults and families earning over 80,000 year. That's not poor. He is right to veto and he knows it is another inch toward socialized medicine. Any thinking person knows that is not the answer to anything.

Basically, the idea of a national or social health care system really doesn't have a whole lot of support - so rather than try and cram one down our throats, perhaps they are trying to put it into effect one small step at a time.
You know the ol' saying - once the door is cracked open....................
