11. Past that age, I just felt like I was too old . I still went out as an escort for my younger siblings, but I didn't dress up or ask for candy. Trick or treating is for young kids. Now that I'm an adult I still feel the same way and will only give out candy to the little ones that come to the door. Once the teenagers come out, my door closes for the night. Around here, it's pretty obvious that the teenagers aren't in it for the fun, just for the free candy. Most don't even dress up, just knock on the door with a pillowcase in their hands!

I was 13. My friends and I dressed up and went around our neighborhood, but the best candy was being handed out at my house. So we came to trick or treat at my house and my mom gave us candy. We then walked around the block and changed up our costumes and returned to the house. We did that for about an hour and it was a lot of fun. I miss trick or treating.
