A dead and bloated animal (like deer) on the side of the road that has been baking in the hot summer sun for about 3 days. If you were walking along side this road, you could smell it a mile away. Now within view you notice that a thick grey slime has puddled up along the sides and it is swarming and crawling with maggots . Gross enough or should I be more graphic?

Ok, I will name something gross, but it will have to be in more than one word.
I use to work for a funeral home. The last two weeks that I worked there I got to help take care of the bodies. One of the women who had died, her family request that she be embalmed. The man who embalmed her overdid it. When we went to dress her, we lifted her arm up to get her dress on and a bunch of black liquid came out of her mouth. We cleaned it up and it kept coming out.
That poor woman's body. She was bloated from too much embalming fluid, they couldn't get her teeth to stay in right, so they had to pack her mouth with cotton to give her face some form to it. Not to mention they had to glue her mouth shut because it wouldn't stay shut. The dress didn't fit right, so we had to cut the back just so it would fit.
Oh, is this not what you meant by gross? Well, then, pretty much any bodily function is gross, but needed.
