seeing as there was to big upsets in the world cup with the wallaby's and the all blacks going down to france and england,i think the springboks will have no competition now and walk in another world cup.

joaquin m,your the moron clown,im actually a wallaby's fan and personally don't rate your side at all-they've had the easiest run into these finals and would not be worthy world cup holders -good luck in 4 years champ!!

As I said in another question, the fact that the English beat the Aussies really is not so unexpected. After all, the Eng. team ARE the World Champions and the Aussies have not been at their best this Tournament.
The French are in the top five and the Kiwis were over-confident and complacent.
However, Fiji, in spite of their big talk at the moment and in spite of their passion, will be no match for the Springboks. The other two Quater finals have no bearing whatsoever on the Fiji/Springbok game except perhaps in the sense that those results may give the Fijians a little extra confidence boost. But then again, the fact that the A.B's are now out will almost certainly hearten the Springbok side.
The Springboks will win and they will reach the final, probably playing France.

I think Springboks will grow more confident knowing the All Blacks & Wallabies are out..I know I would..lol! I think those will be the only 2 upsets in the Quarter Finals. I agree it looks like a Springboks vs France final now.
Debra M I know your team will do well, I cant wait to watch some exciting Rugby in the Quarters =)

That ain't gonna happen. as with each World Cup Tournament, the competition comes to life with the knockout stages. South Africa have a chance, but (being English) I'm backing England. France now have home advantage, and every game will be a closely fought match.

Yes well your right of course but in this cup of upsets you might get rolled by Argentina or Scotland.
I don't care any more. But good luck , the Boks are a tough team.
We know that.

From recent events i don't think any team are certain to win, there may be more upsets, they wont walk it in, but would now have added confidence. Englands regimented pack look good, oh and "bloody Jonny".

Argentina are no slouchs. You will need to beat them first. I would like to see France rolled be it by England, South Africa or Argentina.
