I live in Silver City, there is a lot of stuff in walking distance if you live in town, and everything is within 3-4 miles. the next towns are 40-50 miles away. this is not really a city but kin dof a big small town. the weather gets to the high 90s in teh summer with the nights in the high 60s, very low humidity, and in the winter it is usually in the 50s during the day, and a few times a year drops below freezing at night. very little snow, and if it does it melts by 10am or so due to the sun and dry air.
is it that you dont want a car?

I would recommend Phoenix, Arizona. I've heard that the weather is nice, despite it being 100 degrees during the day. It really doesn't feel all that hot, since there is no humidity to deal with. It's also warm all-year-round.

Any Island in the Caribbean.Nice weather,lovely people and great food.Yup you just gotta love it.
Cities are usually small so you can walk to anywhere you want to go.

Washington DC.........you can walk to a lot of the different historical places and the Metro is outstanding and cheap transportation.
