He seems pretty open and in his late 20's. The staff is all new to him and we're not sure what to get him. We're thinking of a gift card to Ikea? Cake?

Help!!!

Give him a gift certificate for a day at the spa for him and his wife to be able to share a day together for a massage, haircuts, etc.

A gift card would be a great idea.
You can casually ask him or check online to see if they have joined the gift registry of Target, Home Depot, Sears, Macy's, Kohl's JCPenney, IKEA, etc.

A restaurant "evening out" is always appreciated.

Tickets to an event center or activity or sport in your area are fun.

Matching NFL ball caps or T-shirts, or maybe, say he's into Ford or Chevy trucks...go to the dealer's parts store. They have T-shirts etc. there

It can be as simple as a year's worth of microwave popcorn, or some such other "fun" thing.

If donations for the gift are slim, simply have everyone sign a card.

are you asking for a marriage gift idea, or promotion gift?

Just give him a little celebration- a wamr moment to remember and boost his confidence
