He seems pretty open and in his late 20's. The staff is all new to him and we're not sure what to get him. We're thinking of a gift card to Ikea? Cake?

Help!!!

DEPENDS on the ages and what they already have ...

1. ASK him IF they are registered at any Wedding Registries .. and check to see what they have listed there.

2. DO they already have a home, things to furnish/have (like pots/pans, dishes, whatever) ... or do they have 'needs' because this will be a 1st home (outside of their parents' home) for One or BOTH of them?

3. Find out their favorite restaurant, place to go out for a night, whatever .. and get a gift certificate.

4. IF time is a concern ... always take up an office collection and get a gift card to their Gift Registry Store ... then they can choose what they want from the Registry.

5. A SMALL Cake would be NICE for the Office .. and can be done during break times. You do NOT have to feel obligated to do something 'big' -- if everyone signs one card, puts in an 'office' gift card (at any amount), then that is JUST GREAT and shows that you all care for and appreciate this manager of yours!

Something that will help him and his new wife. Why not get them a VISA gift card with a decent amount so that they can buy anything they want/need. Just an idea. A cake is always nice too. Congratulations and all that jazzzz
