With disablity you can get more than based on your work history. Go to the SS website and do what you can.

You can apply at their website http://www.ssa.gov (click "apply for benefits" on the top left-hand side of the page) or by calling them at 1-800-772-1213. If you've never worked in you're life, apply for SSI (Social Supplemental Income). If you've worked some then ALSO apply for social security disability benefits. Some people get money from both programs so make sure to apply for both.

The amount you get depends on your work history. If you never really worked much in your life you would probably only qualify for SSI. I don't know where you live but I can tell you that the SSI benefit in Texas is $623/month. Each state is a little different depending on their cost of living. If you worked quite a bit in your life then you may get a little more than that... but not much.

Social Security is based on your previous income & contributions to the fund .
The annual statement you get would have that amount on there .
Currently , applications for SSDI can take up to 3 yrs to process due to staffing shortages ( and that is for people over 50 with significant Social Security contributions )

Your benefit would be very low .
Would be a lot wiser to find employment you can settle into .
Your SSDI would barely buy a pair of shoes .
