Most food commercials are for some sort of processed food. Processing costs $$$ - therefore they need to advertise.
Real produce, they bring in migrant harvesters, pay 'em a pittance and they're done with it.

right ! and have you noticed how those big, delicious hamburgers, or those burritos and tacos they advertise on TV, never "look" the same in the restaurant. It looks good in the commercial, but when you get your order at the restaurant, it looks like someone threw the ingredients together from across the room !

No sh*t...I just saw a commercial for the most disgusting sandwich, it was a bacon beef cheddar sand which on a hot dog bun...blech...of course I'm 32 weeks pregnant so tomorrow that might sound good to me...but good for me?....definitely not!

Good point! As for TV ads. I like the ones for all those prescriptio medications that give you horrible side-effects as listed by the smiling faces.

They don't usually feature healthy veggies at fast food places, and we do see lots of ads for Buger King, etc.
