Wanting to get vista when i upgrade my computer for call of duty 4. I want to get vista but not sure which one. Im looking on newegg.com and they have TONS of different kinds. I was told vista 64-bit home premium is the one i would need for my geforce 8800 gts and for gamming. I got a link and if someone could tell me if its the right one.

Now i dont want the upgrade, i want to whole verson of vista, where i DONT need xp or anything else. Is that the right one? thx.

Why fool with 3rd party do the test see the difference and buy direct.

Yes, that will work, but it is only good for one install, in other words, its only good for your first computer, if you change computers, or hard drive/ motherboard, you may not be able to re-activate it. Any version of Vista will work for your games, but make absolutely sure all your hardware is compatible, because Vista tends to be very picky.

get vista home premium 32 bit.
Most apps and games are 32 bit, and will be for a while
home premium is not expensive as ultimate, but has more features then home basic.

i have vista 64 bit(ultimate)for memory puposes ,3d graphics,and more speed,this is what you need,but beware vista home premium and 64 utimate are the most expensive vista programs on the market,but more than worth it!

don't get the 64 bit version unless you want some problems, the 32bit version much stabler. Get the 32bit home edition, or if you want it all get the ultimate version. good luck.

The OS of your computer shouldn't matter, but yes this is a good one.

You could probably get it. it says you must purchase a new computer. Buy it anyways.
