Cricket is a bat-and-ball sport contested by two teams, usually of eleven players each. A cricket match is played on a grass field, roughly oval in shape, in the centre of which is a flat strip of ground 22 yards (20.12 m) long, called a cricket pitch. A wicket, usually made of wood, is placed at each end of the pitch.

Cricket is a game where there is a big field with a pitch smack bam in the middle. There is 3 wickets at each end. With a pair of bails on top of the wickets. A person bowls the ball down the pitch to someone with a bat. The person with the bat needs to hit it. the batter scores points for each hit. There are fields witch try 2 catch the ball there for the batter is out.

British Media never let go of a chance to criticize the Australian cricket team. And with the Ashes round the corner, English media took the opportunity to get under the skin of the Australians. Are the English media loyal? You'll have to read them when England loses a match. The English media will hold back nothing when they unleash a scathing attack on their own team. The media is all about luring people, and they want the readers' interest to be piqued up all the time. And they know what to write to do exactly that.

a game, popular esp. in England, for two teams of 11 members each that is played on a field having two wickets 22 yards (20 m) apart, the object being to score runs by batting the ball far enough so that one is enabled to exchange wickets with the batsman defending the opposite wicket before the ball is recovered.
