= (3x - 5)(3x + 1)
2. 7x^2 - 27x = 26
7x^2 - 27x - 26 = 0
x = {-(-27) ± sqrt[(-27)^2 - 4(7)(-26)]}/[2(7)]
x = [27 ± sqrt(1457)]/14
x = 4.65505 or x = -0.79790

i think you wrote #2 wrong. might it actually be: 7x^2-27x=-26 ??
because then the solution would be:
2. 7x^2-27x+26=0
(7x-13)(x-2)=0

for the second one, did u mean + instead of =
if u did then the answer is
(7x-13)(x-2)
