If you're smart, you'd know the answer to that before you tried it!...And then you woudn't have done it.....Think a little bit more before you go off on your whims.
Think in quarter years. If you have an idea today, wait 3 months before you put it into action. If you STILL think it's a good idea, do it!...You'll find most of your ideas will go by the wayside in that period of time.
You won't look like an idiot in the mean time......Not exactly a quick fix, is it? But that's the way it is....Not a popular answer but it's a realistic one.
