When I turn on the computer while the TV is on VGA or computer mode, I could see the windows starting(the line that has 3 dots running to the right) and then the TV just goes dark and my computer starts normally. Is there a program or something to make my computer appear on TV?

Ok it depends on the video card the First very old ones like the nvidia TNT 16mb will only support 1 display device either VGA or S-video but not both.
Or if your Video card is newer. Make sure you have your tv turned on and on the right mode. And have your monitor connected too. Turn on the pc. Then go to Display properties click Settings tab. and it will show 2 monitors. One will be disabled which is labled number 2 usually click on the number 2 monitor and Check mark Extend my desktop to this monitor. and make sure you use 60hz at 640x480 or 800x600 maxium at 60hz. This is if you have a CRT TV (picture TUBE). The LCD and plasma tvs should use any desktop size and Hz.

Try lowering your resolution size. It really depends on the setup you have.
