Your question is highest - I'm going to assume you mean tallest.
According to the Roller Coaster Database, the tallest roller coaster is Kingda Ka -- 456' tall -- at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.
Someone else mentioned "Drop". The longest drop also belongs to Kingda Ka at 418' from the top of the "top-hat" to bottom of the first drop.
Highest in elevation is a completely different question, and I have no idea who to ask about that one.

I believe Kingda Ka is still the winner. Top Thrill Dragster won the title a year before KK.

The tallest drop coaster is Griffon in Busch Gardens Europe. It isn't the tallest coaster, though...just the tallest drop coaster.

im pretty sure that super man rollercoaster in 6 flags new england is the highest you can get...the drop it 250 feet !!!it is like sooo cool dude(et)...good luck<33
