I have gone to every public place in the game and I can't find a single vampire. And yes it was dark. Please help me find a vampire.

Make sure everytime you go out, it is at night. Also try to visit all the community lots that you can. Sometimes seeing a vampire is a very random event.

Just keep going downtown and eventually you'll find a vampire. I usually see them in the parks, or at the bowling alley. You can always make your Sim a vampire if you want to see what one looks like.

It takes time. You won't always find them right away. When you do though, you'll know it. They have a pastey white complexion, and walk around saying "blah, blah" all the time. When you find one, if you talk to them and make friends with them, you can get them to bite your sim, or another sim.
