Well I live in Indianapolis, In. I really like it here. Everybody is usually down to earth and open hearted. It all depends on what you are looking for:scenery, economy, certain job, schools, weather? I have been to Tennesse, Florida, Washington D.C., Missouri, Alabama and Georgia. Out of all these states I loved Gatlinburg, Tennesse. The scenery is absolutley beautiful in the mountains, economy thrives on out-of-staters and the weather is beautiful. You have your normal rain in the spring, summers do not get abnormally hot, fall is just wonderful because of all the trees and winters are a little harsh because of the mountains over all though not bad.

My uncle lived in Arizona in the moutains. The pictures i have seen around georgeous. The rock formations, especially at sunset are awesome, then you have the grand canyon which is an exploration in itself. Here are my few ideas. Hope this helps.

I would have to say Hawaii even though i am from MA because Hawaii is beautiful and its small and there is a lot of wildlife there. Another state is maybe California if you go to the right place. Some places are very crowded and some people don't like that.

North Carolina

Maryland! It has mountains (with snow skiing & for hiking and camping), lakes (for water skiing, boating, fishing, etc.), ocean (for the beaches and a boardwalk), rolling country farmland, from very rural to very urban, and homes from $50 Million Estates to mobile home communities. Best of all, the entire State can be crossed in approximately 5 hours, from Southeast to Northwest. AND you're just North of the National seat of our government and its plentiful museums and other cultural and historical showpieces.

Frankly, our State is a microcosm of the entire United States of America. And, with our military bases, proximity to Washington, DC, and other government and Dept. of Defense employers, our area is virtually recession-proof.

New York - where else can you find action that will electrify you and drive a few hours out to see some of the most beautiful countryside (especially in the fall).
