I'm confident that resources are being used to stem the root causes of this ideology of hatred and domination.
Unfortunately, this cancer was allowed to fester and grow under our previous policies of inaction and no effective response to the terror attacks against Americans all over the globe and now it must be confronted. The militants cannot continue to assume that they can slaughter thousands of innocent victims with impunity - there will be serious consequences. They must be convinced that these tactics of terror and murder will not be successful in furthering their objectives - only then will they fail to recruit new suicide bombers and jihadists. As long as they feel their strategy of terror is working - well, people simply don't abandon tactics that are successful.

I am all for devoting more resources to its intelligence, defense and foreign relations services but I don't see how we can shut down web sites and religious services in foreign countries. The US does not really have a problem with American terrorists so there is not much to be gained by cracking down here. If you know of religious services that incite people to violence in the US, I agree it should be stopped. I could be wrong in assuming you are from the US. Europe seem to have a problem with home grown hate.

Seek the help of moderate Islamist and ask them for help. Let the true Islamist solve this problem. Its their world too. The future of Islam is in their hands. We are doing well here. If they join the terrorist, we'll put em in jail. We being Christians, Atheist, Buddist, Tribal and all non Muslims.

All we have to do to protect ourselves, is stay out of the middle east and mind our own damn business, plus quit giving aid to Israel with which they use to kill Arabs and innocent civilians.
9/11 was not to change our way of life no matter what Bush & company says, it was retaliation for our actions in countries we do not belong.

we need to do whatever we can. they are a huge threat and nobody seems to realize it. we need to spend more money on the army and create a year of mandatory service for all males instead of trying to waste money on health care scams.
