Yes, I was mugged at knifepoiint, I thought he was going to do more (shudder) and I couldn't move, I couldn't scream,anything. After I took a self defense course, but I really hope their is never another time like that. I think I died a little that day as well. Not as trusting anymore either. There will never be a time without crime or violence but you can never get used to it either.

Wow tragic answers there,well yea i have been frozen by fear many times,the worst of them when i was driving and saw a car coming out from no where right infront of me,thats when i paniced and just froze,it felt i couldnt hear anything and everything just started going slow motions to me,and than my sis started poking me and thats when i snaped out!
Yes,driving for me is kinda dangerous!

Yes. I was walking in the street when a lady threw herself from the balcony, or as reports earlier said brother had pushed her and she died in front of me and my dad. I was so shocked at the sight, I just couldn't move until my dad dragged me away. I will never forgot that day.

Not frozen but damned scared ! I was climbing a rock face with a friend once & he froze !
He then complicated matters by making a quick decision , the wrong one , & lost a lot of skin because of it !
Sometimes fear forces us to rise above our capabilities & do things we never dreamed possible !

Once when i was about 6. I was running through a field and my aunt and uncle yelled for me to stop because i was heading straight towards a rattle snake.
Fear stopped me....

yes I gave a patient a wrong dose of a drug that will paralize him and prevent his breath , but I had the most supportive senior , she took him on the bag and gave him manual breath for 20 minutes and all she asked for was an ice-cream .

One time I was walking and I got sorounded by a pack of about 6 dogs and I was so scared I couldn't scream they just started sniffing me and stuff but I thought I was dead meat

Every nights during my childhood.
Close to my parents house lived a strange lady...She was very short, and I was afraid at her.
Now that I'm adult, I realize that was a kind and nice woman, but the kid I was then........was afraid from her.
So............everynights when I went to sleep.........I couldnt close my eyes thinking at her..........even, I heard she breathing close to me in the dark.
I wanted to call my mom, but voice didnt go out....LOL
I still dunno why i was as much scared about her, but was as a trauma in my childhood.
