sort of, it shows that money cant buy teams , I know you need to spend money for players but it seems so ridiculous to spend so much money. I am glad so the Cubs fans cant come back to St Louis and rub our season in our face. At least we represent the Central well. Tough .............Cubs fans......wait till the year 2025 or so....maybe............

No i am personally not very happy but i dont care. Ask yourseld one question sir, who has the most tradition in the MLB? Well i dont think that any team besides the CUBBIES, yanks, sox, and cards have any tradition. Win or lose cubs fans will allways be travelling on the road just to get a glimpse of their players. The cubs actually REPRESENT their city does your team do that???

BY the way, BREWERS SUCK!

The "lovable losers" and the "friendly confines" of Wrigley Field aren't so lovable or friendly anymore. I closed my eyes tonight and thought I was hearing a Philadelphia crowd from all the boo'ing.

They got very cocky this season.

I guarantee you when Lou Piniella said "we're going on a 3-man rotation and Zambrano will pitch game 4", it pumped Arizona up. Arizona was all "uhh who says there's going to be a game 4? Maybe we'll sweep you" and you know what? They did.

Congratulations to the Arizona Diamondbacks. They played like champs.

Well the worst part is we have to hear all the cubs fans complain about how cursed they are. at least that is the best thing with the Sox winning a few years ago. No more curse of the bambino or what ever else.

So at least one more year hearing about Bartman and The Billy Goat.

I'm hardly delirious, it serves them right.

I am a White Sox fan and i even hope that the Cubs would do something, but i've wasted enough energy on them.

Bottom line is , yeah, i'm happy.

No, why should anybody be. The Cubs are cool, and Lou Piniella is super. I look forward to A-Rod joining them next year. They have great fans, except dumb *** Bartman, and really appreciate their players win or lose.
