I've never had a beer talk to me b-4. but i did lose my shoes once after about 5 tequila shots and a couple of mixed drinks. the weird part was they were still on my feet. they just kinda blended in with the carpet.

I feel good after 2, but then I get too bloated, so I go to the wine. I am a lightweight drinker so it does not take much, but I have learned to keep my mouth shut, if I drink too much which is pretty rare nowadays. I just like that little warm buzz, and that is enough for me.

I don't do beer, but it usually is just a couple of alki drinks before they start talking. Martinis are the worst.
