i got a new ipod shuffle for my bday i really dont wanna break it so can some one help??

Yes. You can play, add tunes, and do anything else while it's charging.

Sure, why not? As soon as you plug in the USB, it will start charging unless it's completely full. I transfer songs to my iPod video while it's charging, and it's still working.
