for people who go into public places with their kids and can't control them or do you just get really annoyed.

there is this poor guy sitting in my lobby w/ his 5 kids-and it does seem like he's trying really hard to keep them undercontrol but they are just laughing and running around. but i am very annoyed. why do you have them in a hotel lobby? go sit in the car!

A little of both! You know, maybe I am just getting old and my memory is foggy, but I don't remember kids acting that way quite as much when I was young. But that was before the world got all wussified about spanking. I behaved because I knew that if I didn't there would be a hickory switch and a good @sswhipping waiting for me when I got home!

Kids are wonderful, especially when they are well-behaved, but sometimes it's hard to get them that way. They might be tired after being cooped up in a car all day.
I do feel bad for parents who try their best and can't quite get the kids to cooperate. I usually was fairly successful in getting the kids to behave when that was important.
I found a reward system worked pretty well--rewarding good behavior rather than punishing bad behavior--but you also need to find a way for children to work off some of that energy. Maybe a stop at a playground or just a nice walk on nature trail will help.
It does annoy me when children don't behave and it interferes with other people's business.

What bothers me is when parents scream at their kids. Like that's going to work, if you yell at them every day of their lives you won't get through to them anymore. Try to figure out who your child is and you might find yourself actually caring about the little humans! Would that be so terrible?

i get annoyed. there are reasons they can't control them. if i had acted when i was a kid the way parents let their kids act today, i would have been in sooooo much trouble. plus i just had more respect for my parents than that.

what gets me annoyed is when i see a parent get in a store and try to look like there big and tough trying to be mean to there kids when they dont look tough they look like trash
