in my home town the cops carry tasers and i asked one of them did they have to be tasered to carry it they said no. now is it me or is that just wrong. they dont know the pain so they will 9 times out of time over use them. Plus have yall noticed that cops now a days only become cops so they can be the big dog in town. Now not all of them are like that but most of them are.

yeah i noticed that.. especially in my town.. they are asssses... and most of them think they are above the law and can do as they please..our chief of police used to just be a regular beat cop.. well one night he was off and out on his motorcycle driving drunk.. the state boys tried to pull him over and he speed away only to be caught later.. given a slap on the hand and made chief of police.. how`s that for a story..

Gee, that is really very kind of you to let us know that there are cops out there that are not like that! That is about the most patronizing and condescending statement that I have seen in a while.

I won't echo the point about the gun, and cops needing to be shot to carry them, to carry out your line of logic. But I will say that these folks are a pretty thin line between you and those that want to hurt you. The vast majority of police officers that I have known became police officers because of an overriding desire to help others, and the need to instill some order and discipline in a society that is overrun with gangs, drugs, and murder for fun; a society where a certain segment considers life to be cheap, and don't actually expect to live past 25.

Top dog, huh? You really, really believe that they are there only to exploit you, to run roughshod over you? If you really believe that, I hope you need them REAL bad, REAL soon.

Think about this. Following your logic, police shouldn't be able to carry guns unless they have been shot. Doesn't make much sense does it. They should be trained in the proper use of the taser and held accountable if they over use them.

They don't get Tasered for the same reason they don't get shot.
