Mutuality is the key. People harp on about a true friend "being there for you", but its more than that. A true friend is someone who lets you be there for them. If they don't let you in, they are nothing to rely on.

A true friend is honest and sticks by you threw thick and thin. A true friend likes you for you!
A friend will never leave you side no matter what. A true friend should not judge you, but give you kind advice.

I have found that people, in general, are a pain in the butt. Every now and again you come across a person who really clicks with your personality. It doesn't happen often.
So what makes a good friend? Someone who identifies with your idea of a good friend. hehe Everyone has different ideas of what a friend should be. Its a totally personal decision.

I'm a true friend. Im the shy one in the group so usually everyone comes to me to talk(I'm a good listener) to. They also say I give "popping" advice. For me, my true friend always knows when i feel left out and when im having problems. LOVE YOU!!!!!!

its hard to find somebody.
but his traits shUd be of quality
it doesn't matter if he's rude-----as long as he cares 4 u..
it doesn't matter if he's close to somebody who's special to u------- as long as he's never a traitor..
he is always at your side no matter what..
especially in those times which he is necessarily likely to go

someone who, when you get a rattlesnake bite on your butt, will suck out the poison. friends are out there. but they're like flowers.......you have to plant the seed, cultivate it, and nurture it. It'll blossom. You'll get weeds, but they're easily dealt with.
