I like both--but I adore Autumn's colors.I live in NE Ohio,USA,and we have had hot days lately.(Today 90 degrees F./30 C.)...but cooler nights, and the colors are going to be amazing, they've just begun showing up.

I like best the Indian Summer which is a very beautiful mild autumn that sometimes in England lasts until early December.

I only like Spring only if it's warm and stable. March and April can be crazy months.

Autumn for me. Spring is a bit too wet and very few things are in bloom. However, in Autumn the temps are cooler and most of my plants are still in bloom. I love to sit in my yard under the clear skies and watch the moon light up my garden. I like the crisp mornings and the golden and crimson hues that glow in the sunlight. In Autumn I get to practically live outside with all the beauty that began in Spring and that I nurtured through Summer. In Autumn I get to sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor.

While I love the cooler days and lovely colors of autumn, I prefer the spring when all the birds build nests and flowers start to bloom. It's the rebirth of life that gives me hope for the future of the Earth.

I prefer Autumn because in Spring comes the insects like the bees and It´s always raining.
Frankly, both are beautiful because they´re natural, there are colours and sounds. Ans Spring It´s one of that times in the year you´ve got sun and peace.
I really don´t know!

.I agree with you that both seasons are lovely in their own right. The colours of the trees in Autumn are a wonderful sight - in the same way, the Spring brings forth beautiful flowers in advance of the bountiful Summer flowers.

Nature is wonderful any time of the year though.

I prefer spring with new life forming all around. Granted the colours in autumn are fantastic, but they are a sign of sleep or death. Both of these I detest.

Give me Spring any day, with fall you have winter approaching and cold dark nights with little sign of life in the garden. With spring you have the start of warmer days, the glory of snowdrops, hellebores, crocuses, narcissi, anemones, primulas, irises and all the promise of a summer to look forward to, no contest.

I know this does not answer your question as stated but IMO I love all 4 seasons. That is why I live in Michigan because we can enjoy and look forward to each next season. Basically they are 3 months each in duration. What a deal....
