geez, I am being silly. I guess no one gets it that when they talk, they use their hands, not their mouths so it wouldn't matter if they 'talked' with their mouths full of food....

Looks like the count is stalking you, Lakisha. Let people know if you get a violation notice.

It's bad manners if they talk with the voice, just like it would be for anyone else. And most deaf people do manage to speak at least intelligibly. But as someone else pointed out, definitely rude if they talk with their hands full.

So, you think you're just being silly do you ? I find no humor in being rude to hearing impaired people. Let's say someone asked if black people talked with their mouths full, would that be bad manners ? Would you be amused ? I think not. Have you ever heard that it's better to be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt ?
