Keep in mind I'm from Ohio and was born in Kansas City and the first team I've ever watched is the Jackets, so I haven't watched hockey as long as most of you guys have.

That said, Tyler Wright is my favorite pest from the seven years of hockey I've watched. And he was a good community guy off the ice. Funny, too. I remember one time after he got the crap kicked out of him in a fight (and there was nothing new whatsoever about that) by Jordin Tootoo he found bitemarks on his pinkie and because of that he said in an interview, "I don't know why he did that. Maybe it's what they eat up there or something." It wasn't politically correct, yeah, but that had me laughing even after I put down the paper.

I said at the Ducks-Jackets game to somebody that I was really upset when Wright was traded, kind of upset that Beauchemin was traded and I danced around our kitchen when Marchant ended up in Anaheim. And I stand by that.

My favorite current pest is Zenon Konopka. Fun to watch and a very fitting successor to the CBJ's number 28.

In the 60s it was Eddie Shack
In the 70s it was Don Saleski
In the 80s it was Ken Linseman
In the 90s it was Claude Lemieux
Now it is Steve Avery

All of them did the job extremely well and it's hard to pick any one over the other

Dino Ciccarelli or Chris Chelios. I remember watching games where Chelios would target one guy and make his night absolutely miserable. The guy would eventually get mad and do something dumb, giving Chelios's team a power play. Chelios is/was like a bad gnat.

Esa Tikanen (as long as he was on my team). He wasn't just your average pest, he could skate and score and play good defence too.

Wendal Clark and Doug Gilmour (is that the right "Gilmour" spelling?). Darcy Tucker's a close second (but no cigar), and after Sean Avery was traded to the Rangers, I started to see a method and reason to his madness. He is one smart dude.
